Dude, righteous project; I'm glad to see it mentioned on boingboing. I want to be there for the get together with the entire population of New York--can I come?
Why not use your time and energy in trying to capture on paper the soul and essence of a single person. I think that's harder to do than this project, but much more rewarding for both you and the viewer.
Hi Jason. You know... this is *really* admirable, and I can see how it's about the effort and not the outcome... but still...
ReplyDeleteThe population of New York City is about 8.2 million people. If you were to draw even 100 people every day, it would take over 224 years.
Just sayin'

Excellent idea. Feels like the city is really just a small town. I'll enjoy seeing the inhabitants through your eyes every day. Good luck.
